North Carolina Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (NCATOD)

NCATOD supports and empowers NC treatment professionals to enhance the quality of patient care in treatment programs by promoting the growth and development of comprehensive opioid treatment services throughout North Carolina. The NCATOD Annual Conference is the only conference in North Carolina specifically designed for nurses, counselors and support staff working in the field of Medically Assisted Treatment. The conference serves to identify advocacy roles, issues, and opportunities for opioid treatment providers across the spectrum of opioid treatment; Explore the “Team Concept of Care” in an OTP to address issues of significance with a multidisciplinary approach to care; and provides a unique opportunity for attendees to network with opioid treatment colleagues in Addiction Nursing and Counseling from across the state of North Carolina. Since 2013, Empowered Ideas has managed and marketed the annual conference for NCATOD.
