Business Networking
Empowered Ideas is proud to sponsor Linkedin Live Raleigh's Bi-Monthly Business Networking Social.
This month's networking event was held at the Solas Rooftop Lounge. Over 75 professionals from all across the Triangle attended the event throughout the evening. Our spotlight charity of the evening was The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina (FBCENC), and all donations at the door went directly to FBCENC. Linkedin Live Raleigh (LLR) aims to help Linkedin members in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area, deepen the connections they have online, and to build new connections in the real world. While connecting with present, past, and potential colleagues and business partners at Linkedin Live Raleigh, participants meet professionals at all career stages — thus expanding their reach, demonstrating their expertise and finding new opportunities.Empowered Ideas is a proud supporter and sponsor of the Triangle Association of Black Journalists (TABJ / @TABJNC / #TABJNC), a nonprofit affiliate of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
On December 17th, the EI Team joined TABJ members for their Holiday Mixer & Membership Meeting at #WRAL TV-5 in Raleigh, NC.
As always, it was a pleasure hanging out with so many media professionals from the Triangle area. A HUGE thanks goes out to News Anchor, Ken Smith, of WRAL TV-5 for hosting the event at their "Cafe 5-50" space in the studio.
Stay Tuned! Details will be posted soon about the NABJ Region III Conference in Charleston, SC next spring. Empowered Ideas has been invited to assist in organizing part of the conference. We're excited about the opportunity, and look forward to seeing our followers from local and national news media industries.
