North Carolina Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Studies (NCFADS)

In 1978, the North Carolina Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Studies (NCFADS) was chartered as a private non-profit corporation with the support and encouragement of the North Carolina Department of Human Resources, the Alcoholism professionals of North Carolina (APNC) and the Association of Drug Abuse Prevention (ADAP). The Foundation has continued its professional relationship with the organization of Addiction Professionals of North Carolina (APNC). The Foundation continues to expand the scope of its planning process and professional relationships as it strives to provide state of the art training for all addiction professionals. In 20132 Empowered Ideas began managing and marketing NCFAD's two annual Schools -- the NCFADS Winter and Summer Schools for Substance Abuse Professionals in NC.
