Empowered Ideas Co-Founder, Virginia Johnson was invited to participate as an expert panelist for the “Maing News: Media Access Workshop for Nonprofits,” hosted by the Triangle Association of Black Journalists (TABJ), an affiliate of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). Audience members represented over a dozen Triangle area nonprofits, as the panel of experts (Print, Radio, TV and Digital Media) talked about the best practices required to getting the attention of the media.
