Lender, Realtor, & Housing Professionals Training

HCG partners with numerous local area lenders and realtors and provides critical training and application support for those interested in participating in the City of Greensboro & City of High Point Downpayment Assistance (DPA) Programs.

HCG is proud of our extensive network of partners including lenders, and realtors that embrace the importance of sustainable homeownership, financial stability, and pathways to generational wealth—all of which are core to our mission.

There is a mandated training for lenders and processors interested in participating with City of Greensboro and City of High Point DPA programs.

This training is a valuable resource used to equip and prepare lenders and processors in navigating the  DPA eligibility requirements and application process for clients. Each lender or processor must attend training, complete a knowledge check with a passing score, and in turn receives all training & guideline materials. Once training is complete, lenders will be added to the Participating list provided to HBE clients.

What DPA programs are accessible to my clients through HCG?

HCG is a proud partner of the following:

City of Greensboro

  • HCG’s Lender Workshop does qualify eligible lenders & processors to offer City of Greensboro’s Homebuyer Assistance (DPA) program.
  • City of Greensboro outsources DPA application processing to HCG through an online portal. The Lender Workshop provides a detailed overview of this process and expectations.

City of High Point

  • HCG’s Lender Workshop does qualify eligible lenders & processors to offer City of High Point’s Homebuyer Assistance (DPA) program.
  • City of High Point has an internal system for the application process. All questions for City of High Point and application processes must be directed to Toni Jackson at:

NCHFA CPLP

  • Our Lender Workshop does NOT qualify lenders to offer CPLP. Applications are NOT submitted through the Neighborly portal.

Lender and Realtor Training Registration
